Microsoft's junk email filtering works on a few levels. Some email is filtered out before it gets to a mailbox. Other email can be sent to the Junk Folder based on rules and settings set by each mailbox owner. If an inordinate amount of email is being sent to the junk email folder check the "Safe Senders and Domains" setting in Outlook.
The easiest way to check this is to go to https://outlook.office.com/mail/ and click on the settings "gear" near the top right corner. Once there, click on "Mail", "Junk email" and then check the first checkbox under "Filters". If that is checked, you can add "hancockcollege.edu" or any specific email address to the "Safe senders and domains" just above that section and hit save. Email from addresses and domains you put in the "Safe senders and domains" list should no longer be automatically sent to your junk folder. The other option is to uncheck the "Only trust email from ..." box to not have any filtering done on your mailbox.
