✅ Step 1: HR & Account Setup

  • Has HR completed the hiring process?
    (HR sends a confirmation email with the employee's username)
    Note: Employee usernames are the same as student usernames. Changing one affects the other. Only the domain differs:

  • Has the employee initialized their account and set an SSO password?

💻 Step 2: Technology Needs

  • Does the employee need a device?

  • Employee Classification:

    • Classified Staff

    • Faculty


🖋️ Step 3: Adobe Licensing

If Classified Staff:

  • Requires access to Adobe applications?

  • Requires ability to generate Adobe Sign documents?
    Note: Generating documents requires a limited premium license; signing only requires the standard Adobe Sign license.

If Faculty:

  • Requires Adobe access for PDF editing?
    Note: Adobe Sign generation is not granted to faculty by default. Must be approved by both their supervisor and the ITS Director.


🧾 Step 4: Microsoft Licensing

  • Is this a part-time or special assignment employee?
    By default, these roles receive web-only O365 access.

    • If using an AHC-owned device and needs full Office apps, submit upgrade:
